      1.  Can't Login? Can't Post? or Getting Logout Fast? back

Your Internet Explorer or Firefox browser is not configured to accept cookies or session cookies. This is probably the origin of the problem.  We suggest you accept incoming and session cookies by the using the below option.

Here is the procedure with Internet Explorer:

  • Open your Internet browser,
  • Click on the "Tools" menu and then on "Internet Options",
  • Choose the "Privacy" tab, click on "Advanced" and a new window will open. Change the Cookie parameters by clicking on 'Ignore the automatic parameters' and then allow external and internal cookies.
    (See below image for details)

 

  • Should you have a firewall, make sure you disable, as it may also be the cause of the problem. Or go into the firewall program option and add ADLOT websites into the safelist.
  • You need to have the latest Java Machine installed in your pc. To install the latest Java Machine, please click on the download now button.

Brief overview
JavaScript cookies are the vehicle to persisting data between client requests. When a site requiring login remembers your username on return visits.

There are two types of JavaScript cookies-permanent, and session-only. The first one stores its information in a physical file on the client's computer called "cookie.txt", with the stored data "permanently" available. Session only cookies, on the other hand, stores information in the browser memory, and is available for the duration of the browser session. In other words, the data stored inside a session cookie is available from the time of storage until the browser is closed. Moving from page to page during this time does not erase the data.

To enable cookies, follow the instructions below for the browser version you are using.

Mozilla Firefox (1.0 final release and earlier)
  • Go to the "Tools" menu.
  • Select "Options".
  • Select the "Privacy" icon in the left panel.
  • Check the box corresponding to "Allow sites to set cookies".
  • Click "OK" to save changes.
Netscape 7.1/Mozilla 5.0
  • Select "Preferences" from the Edit menu.
  • Click on the arrow next to "Privacy & Security" in the scrolling window to expand.
  • Under "Privacy & Security", select "Cookies."
  • Select "Enable all cookies".
  • Click "OK".
Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0+
  • Select "Internet Options" from the Tools menu.
  • Click on the "Privacy" tab.
  • Click the "Default" button (or manually slide the bar down to "Medium") under "Settings".
  • Click "OK".
Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.x
  • Select "Internet Options" from the Tools menu.
  • Click on the "Security" tab.
  • Click the "Custom Level" button.
  • Scroll down to the "Cookies" section.
  • To enable:
    • Set "Allow cookies that are stored on your computer" to "Enable".
    • Set "Allow per-session cookies" to "Enable".
  • Click "OK".
Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.x
  • Select "Internet Options" from the View menu.
  • Click on the "Advanced" tab.
  • Scroll down to find "Cookies" within the "Security" section.
  • To enable:
    • Select "Always accept cookies".
  • Click "OK".
Netscape Communicator 4.x
  • Select "Preferences" from the Edit menu.
  • Find the "Cookies" section in the "Advanced" category.
  • To enable:
    • Select "Accept all cookies" (or "Enable all cookies").
  • Click "OK".

3.  I got a mail from ADLOT. back

We don't like to SPAM. If you got an email from us, it just means two things. Congratulations!

Firstly, you have gotten a RED CARPET invitation from us. Register with us and be sure to check your ad appearing for FREE in ADLOT site ranging from banners, hot ads listing, featured ads listings, web links and many more.

Secondly, it means that we do have customers here interested in using your product and services from the search stats that we get everyday.

 

4. I would like to post an ad. How do I start? back

To start posting ads, you will need create a FREE membership account. The Email you entered during registration will need to be verified. During verification we will send you a verification code, which you need to paste to the presented form or simply click the link from your Email. Once your Email is verified, you may start posting ads. When you logged to the system, your name is displayed at the left corner of the top navigation bar.

 

5. I have created an account and asked to enter verification code. But I have not received an Email with verification code. back

Please make sure you have entered a correct and valid Email address. Sign In to ADLOT with the Email address and password you registered, and click register/update . If your Email Address is incorrect, then make necessary changes and click "Update Account". The verification code will be resend to the new address you specified. Please note: The verification code is resend only if you changed an Email Address. If you specified the correct address but for some reason the Email did not reach you, simply Sign In and click "resend verif. code" link on verification form.

 

6. I do not see the appropriate category or subcategory to post my ad under. back

If you cannot find appropriate category to post your ad under, please let us know and we will create new category.

 

7. I have posted my ad under wrong category by mistake. Can I change category? back

No! You cannot move your ads. Ad can be moved into a different category by our admin only. Please contact admin if you would like to move your ad.

 

8. I have attached a wrong picture to my ad. Can I change it? back

Yes, you can change the image. If you have not submitted the ad yet, then on the final ad submission form click "Remove" below the picture thumbnail and then click "Ad Images". If you have submitted the ad, you can still change the image. Open your ad in full view and within the "Status" area at the bottom click "Images" link. You will be directed to the image replacement/addition page.

 

9. I have posted my add, but I do not see it listed. back

This site is moderated. Every ad or banner posted, needs to be approved before its shown to the public. Once your ad has been approved and posted, you will receive an additional Email notification.

 

10. I forgot my password. How can I retrieve it? back

If you forgot your password, we will send you a temporary replacement password. Click "I forgot my password" at the sign in page, enter the email, which your registered at our site and click "Email My Password". Check your Email for the temporary password we sent you. Once sign in to your membership account with a new password, make sure to change it by clicking "Update Account" link at the top navigation bar.

 

11. Can I change my Email, password or name? back

You may change your profile information at any time. However if you change your Email, we will need to verify it. The procedure is the same as when you first registered.

 

12. I wonder if my Email will be added to different lists and used inappropriately for spam. back

Your Email address will NOT be sold or passed to any lists. If you choose to participate in our list, you may occasionally receive Emails concerning changes in our policies, upgrades or information concerning your account.

 

13. Can I extend the duration of my listings before expiration or change my ad content? back

Sure. You may change the ad duration, and content of your ad at any time. Note: Some categories might only have one preset duration option. To change the content of the ad, at any time click "Edit" link at the full ad view page or from your ads list when you click "My Ads".

 

14. I have sold my Item. Can I remove my ad completely? back

Yes, you can delete your ad using "Delete" link while viewing your ad in full format or from the list of your ads while you click "My Ads" link. Note: you must be signed in to your account before changing or deleting your ads. You may also temporary disable your ad by clicking "Disable" link at full ad view page. The ad will be removed from the list, but remain in database. You can view your disabled ad by logging to the system, clicking "My Ads". You can enable disabled ad by clicking "Enable" full ad view page. Once opened your ad in full view, you may always determine the status of your ad by looking at "Status" bar at the bottom of the page. Appropriate links to edit, delete, disable, change images of your ad are located next to the status indicator.

 

15. My ad has expired and taken offline. How can I resubmit it? back

You may resubmit your ad after it has been expired. Sign in to the site, click "My Ads" find your ad in the list and click "Repost".

 

16. I would like to submit a banner to display on your site. What should I do? back

To submit a banner, you will need to create a membership account with us. Once your Email Address verified and you signed in, click on "Advertise" at the bottom and follow Steps to submit your banner.

 

17. I have my banner displaying on your site. Can I see the daily statistics? back

Sure. Being signed in to the system click "Advertise" at the bottom and then See Rotator Statistics . All sites associated with your account will be listed. You may click on "Statistics" to view the daily impressions and clicks for your banner as well as the date of expiration or number of impressions left in your advertisement campaign with us.

 

18. My question is not listed. What do I do now? back
